In the Name of Allâh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
[020:001] Tâ-Hâ.
[These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]
[020:002] We have not sent down the Qur'ân to you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) to cause you distress,
[020:003] But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allâh).
[020:004] A Revelation from Him (Allâh) Who has created the earth and high heavens.
[020:005] The Most Gracious (Allâh) rose over (Istawâ) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty).
[020:006] To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil.
[020:007] And if you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden.
[020:008] Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names.
[020:009] And has there come to you the story of Mûsâ (Moses)?
[020:010] When he saw a fire, he said to his family: "Wait! Verily, I have seen a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire."
[020:011] And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Mûsâ (Moses)!
[020:012] "Verily, I am your Lord! So take off your shoes; you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. |
