Some Actions which Conflict with Aqeedah & Tawheed

Some Actions which Conflict with Aqeedah & Tawheed

1 – Reading Star Signs

Shaykh Salih Alaa ash – Shaykh -hafidhullaah- said :

‘Whoever reads the page which contains star signs and he knows the star sign of when he was born, or he knows that star sign which is significant for him, and he reads the comments mentioned in that star sign then it is as if he has asked a soothsayer/fortune teller. So his prayer would not be accepted for forty days.

If he attests to it and believes in that star sign then he has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- . . .’ (the Shaykh continues saying: ) ‘and if he brings home newspapers which contain these type of things then it is as if he brought a soothsayer / fortune teller into his house.’

[Tamheed Sharh Kitaab al Tawheed p. 349 ]

2 – Watching Magical Acrobatic Stunts & Circus Antics

Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzaan -hafidhullaah- said :

‘It is not permissible to use magic in the form of acrobatic stunts or circus antics or anything similar to that. Like the one who pulls a car with his hair, or a car is driven over him and does not harm him. . . . . all of this is magical imagery, so it is not allowed to perform it or to be happy with it, nor to attract your friends to do this in front of Muslims. Because it is clear evil, it is obligatory to reject and terminate it and to cleanse the Muslim lands of it . . . if those who go to see magic in the form of acrobatic stunts even though they are not pleased with going to see them, they have carried out something which is prohibited and they are sinful for it.

If they are pleased with this and they know that this is done by magic then they have fallen into disbelief because of it.’

[Daroos fee sharh Nawaqid al Islaam p. 152-156]

3 – Wearing an Engagement Ring

This enters under the saying of the Messenger – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam:

‘Indeed incantations, amulets and Tiwalah [1] (a form of magic) are Shirk.’

Collected by Ahmad and Abu Dawood.

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Uthaymeen -rahimullaah – gave the example that an engagement ring is a Tiwalah and he explained:

‘If the people believe that it can benefit or harm, then with this intention it is from the minor Shirk, and even if this intention is not there – and this is highly unlikely that he does not have this intention – it is resemblance of the Christians since it is taken from them.’

[Al-Qawl al-Mufeed ala Kitaab al Tawheed 1 /228-229]

4 – Wearing Brass Bracelets to Battle Against Rheumatism

Shaykh AbdulAziz Ibn Baz – rahimullaah – said regarding these type of bracelets after having exhausted all the evidences:

‘The opinion which I hold in this issue is leaving these previously mentioned bracelets and not to use them; this is to block the path leading to Shirk, to terminate the aspect of any Fitnah with these bracelets and to incline to them, also that souls become attached to them.

Also, in having the incentive in turning the Muslim with his heart to Allaah -Subhanahu- and to have trust in Him, and reliance on Him sufficing with the means which are in accordance with the Sharia’ and their allowance is well known with committing Shirk.’

[Majmoo’ Fatawa ash-Shaykh Ibn Baaz vol.1 p.207]

All Praise belongs to Allaah, may His peace and blessings be upon our final Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and all those who follow his guidance.

He is not an Angel, he doesn’t have the Treasures and he doesn’t know the unseen – Ibn Taimiyyah

Neither Wealthy, Nor Knowledge of the Unseen, Nor an Angel
By Shaykh ul-Islaam Ahmad bin AbdulHaleem Ibn Taymeeyah -Rahimullaah-

Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya

<<Say (O Muhammad): “I don’t tell you that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor (that) I know the unseen; nor I tell you that I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me by inspiration.”>> [Soorah Ana’am : 50]

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ahmad bin AbdulHaleem Ibn Taymeeyah (d.728 A.H.) -Rahimullaah- said:

‘Indeed the Messenger –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– was ordered to free himself from claiming these three things with Allaah’s statement << Say : ‘I don’t tell you that with me are the treasures of Allaah, nor (that) I know the unseen; nor I tell you that I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me by inspiration.’ >> This is also what Nuh -alayhi as-Salam- said and he was the first of the main Messengers, the first Messenger [1] whom Allaah Ta’ala sent to the people of the earth. Here, too now, is the seal of the Messengers and the seal of the main Messengers and they have both freed themselves from this claim. This is because people sometimes seek knowledge of the unseen from the Messenger–sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam, as in the saying of Allaah:

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

<< They say: “When will this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) come to pass? if you are telling the truth.” >> [Mulk:25]

And

يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبِّي

<< They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): “When will be its appointed time?” Say: “The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). >> [al-Aa’raaf: 187]

Also they sometimes seek this knowledge to be persuaded of the truth, as in the saying of Allaah :

<< And they say: “We shall not believe in you, until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us; “Or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly; “Or you cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces, as you have pretended, or you bring Allaah and the angels before (us) face to face; “Or you have a house of adornable materials (like silver and pure gold, etc.), or you ascend up into the sky, and even then we will put no faith in your ascension until you bring down for us a Book that we would read.” Say : “Glorified (and Exalted) be my Lord (Allaah) above all that evil they (polytheists) associate with Him! Am I anything but a man, sent as a Messenger?”>> [al-Israa: 90-93]

Sometimes, they would regard the human need a Messenger had as shameful, as in the saying of Allaah :

وَقَالُوا مَالِ هَذَا الرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِي فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُ نَذِيرًا () أَوْ يُلْقَى إِلَيْهِ كَنْزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا

<< And they say: “Why does this Messenger eat food, and walk about in the markets (like ourselves). Why is not an angel sent down to him to be a warner with him? “Or (why) has not a treasure been granted to him, or why has he not a garden whereof he may eat?” >> [Furqan : 7]

Therefore, Allaah ordered the Messenger to inform them that he neither knew the unseen, nor did he possess the treasures of Allaah, nor was he an Angel who was not in need of eating or wealth. Rather, he was a follower of what was revealed to him, following that which was revealed to him is the Deen, which is obedience to Allaah and he was commanded to worship Him with knowledge and actions, both inward and outward. A person attains from those three things, according to the amount Allaah Ta’ala gives him. He learns from him what He has taught him and has ability according to what Allaah gives him the capability to do, and he suffices himself with that which Allaah enriched him with in matters which would otherwise oppose general practices or the practice of the majority of the people.’

[Majmoo 11/312-313]

The Keys for Receiving Provisions – Shaykh Muhammad Bazmool

 ‏للـــرزق مفاتيـــح أهمهــــا خمســـة

The Keys for Receiving Provisions
By Shaykh Muhammad bin Umar bin Salim Bazmool
[From the ‘My Religion taught me’ series]

Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya

Receiving Provisions has keys, the most important are five:

The First: Being continuous upon the five daily prayers.

This is from the secrets of where paying Zakat is repeatedly connected to establishing the prayer.

This is – and Allaah knows best – an indication that whoever established the prayer then their provision will increase and they will possess wealth more than they need, so much so that paying Zakat becomes obligatory upon them. This is why the saying of Allaah is repeated [in the Qur’aan]:

(اقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة).

<<establish the prayer and pay the Zakat>>

The Second: Seeking Forgiveness

Allaah Subhanahu says:

{وَيَا قَوْمِ اسْتَغْفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُواْ إِلَيْهِ يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاء عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَاراً وَيَزِدْكُمْ قُوَّةً إِلَى قُوَّتِكُمْ وَلاَ تَتَوَلَّوْاْ مُجْرِمِينَ }

<<And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, He will send you (from the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your strength, so do not turn away as Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah).>> [Hud:52]

And Allaah Subhanahu says:

”I said (to them): ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; ‘He will send rain to you in abundance; ‘And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.” What is the matter with you, [that you fear not Allaah (His punishment), and] you hope not for reward (from Allaah or you believe not in His Oneness).》[Nuh:10-13]

The Third: keeping good relations with relatives

The most important and at the forefront is being good to parents.

From Anas bin Malik -Radhi Allaahu anhu- who said I heard the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa Salam– saying:

((مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُبْسَطَ لَهُ فِي رِزْقِهِ أَوْ يُنْسَأَ لَهُ فِي أَثَرِهِ فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ ))

‘Whoever is pleased that his provision is increased or that his life is lengthened then he should keep good relations with his relatives.’ [Collected by Bukhari]

The Fourth: Taqqwa of Allaah

Allaah Ta’ala said :

And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allaah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allaah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allaah has set a measure for all things.》[Talaq: 2-3]

The Fifth: Performing Hajj & Umrah a lot.

From Abdullaah -Radhi Allaahu anhu- who said that the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa Salam – said:

‘Follow up between Hajj and Umrah since they wipe out poverty and sins, just as the furnace separates the iron slag from gold and silver. There is no reward for a Hajj done correctly except Paradise.’

Knowledge is Sought from its Scholars – By Dr. Murtaza bin Bakhsh [Video|Urdu-Eng Subtitles]

Video Courtesy: Bilal Nahim
Translation Verified By: Abu Bilal Nahim

Dr. Murtaza bIn Bakhsh:

Who is upon the truth and who is upon falsehood? How will we know this and how will we be able to distinguish this? Is it possible without knowledge? Then, when will we seek knowledge? Is it not important that time be allocated? It is important; and knowledge is sought from the scholars. It is notjust sought from books. It is sought from scholars and students of knowledge. Those scholars who teach the Qur’aan and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf of this Ummah – this confinement is obligatory, that there is the Quraan, authentic Hadeeth and they speak, teach the religion and give rulings according to the understanding of the Sahaabah (companions of Prophet (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam).

If you find such a scholar or such a student of knowledge somewhere, then do not leave him; and connect with the scholars, the senior scholars all praise be to Allaah – such scholars are present.

Now (seeking) knowledge has become easy, translations have come forth – in English, in Urdu, in every language. Shaykh bin Baaz rahimahullaah, Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen, (the) Muhaddith, Muhammad Naasiruddeen aI-Albaani rahimahullaah, there are (about) 10,000 cassettes of his – now we have CDs, but before the CDs there were (about) 10,000 cassettes. And if you just take out any cassette from the middle, you will notice that they contained the lessons of Tawheed and the Manhaj of the Salaf, in each of his cassettes. Far removed is Allah from all imperfections!

Shaykh Saalih al-Fowzaan is alive [hafidhahullaah], Shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan is alive, Shaykh Ubayd al-Jaabiree, Shaykh Rabee’ al-Madkhalee, Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee aI-Madkhalee – they are those ‘Ulemaa, that if you attach yourself to them, by Allaah, life changes. There is light [of guidance] in their sayings; there is light in their guidance. If (you) want to learn the methodology of the Salaf, then this is the path, this is the methodology. There are other Salafee scholars as well but I remember these names, their names are known and famous. Do not say that I do not have a way to reach them. By Allaah, by sitting at home, nowadays, all praise be to Allaah, there are online duroos happening as well. Aren’t they happening? Use this technology correctly.

People abuse it by listening to songs and what not. You use it correctly and see how you become a part of (seeking) beneficial knowledge and how it benefits you even after your death.

Great Reward of feeding a Fasting Person to Break his Fast – Dr. Saleh as Saleh [Short Clip|En]

The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said,

“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward.”

[At-Tirmidhi, authenticated by Al-Albani (rahimahullaah).]

Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih Al-‘Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah) said,

“Those who have the ability should strive to feed those who are fasting (when it’s time to break the fast) either in the masaajid or in other places. This is since whoever feeds a fasting person, he will receive the same reward as the one fasting. So if a person feeds his brothers who are fasting, he will receive the same reward as them. Therefore, those whom Allaah has granted wealth should take advantage of this opportunity to obtain a great reward.”

The following are taken from Fortress of the Muslim, Dar-us-salam Publication

Offered food when fasting & you decline:

When you are invited (to eat) then reply to the invitation. If you are fasting then invoke Allah’s blessings (on your host), and if you are not fasting then eat.

Muslim 2/1054

Breaking fast in someone’s home:

أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُم الصّائِمونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعامَكُمُ الأبْرار، وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الملائِكَة

Aftara ‘indakumus-saa’imoona, wa ‘akala ta’aamakumul-‘abraaru, wa sallat ‘alaykumul-malaa’ikatu

With you, those who are fasting have broken their fast, you have fed those who are righteous, and the angels recite their prayers upon you.

Abu Dawud 3/367, Ibn Majah 1/556, An-Nasa’i, ‘Amalul-Yawm wal-Laylah 296-8. Al-Albani graded it authentic in Sahih Abu Dawud 2/730

Call for the Uniting of Moon Sightings everywhere with that of Makkah? – Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen

Q. 393. There are some people who call for the uniting of moon sightings everywhere with that of Makkah, in order to unite the Muslim community over the start of the blessed month of Ramadan and other months. What is Your Eminence’s opinion on this?

A. From the point of view of astronomy, this is impossible, because the appearance of the new crescent, as Shaikhul-Islam Ibn Tairniyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said, differs (from place to place) according to the consensus of those who are knowledge- able in this field. Since it differs, then what is necessitated by the evidence from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and scientific evidence, is that every country must have its own ruling.

As for the evidence from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, Allah, the Most High says:

“So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan, i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month” [Al-Baqarah 2:185]

So, if it happened that a people in the farthest part of the earth did not witness the month, i.e. the new crescent, while the people of Makkah had seen the new crescent, how could the address in this Verse be applied to those who had not witnessed the new crescent?! The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“Fast when you see it and break the fast when you see it” [1]

So if the people of Makkah see it, how can we oblige the people of Pakistan and those Asians who live beyond it to fast, when we know that the new crescent has not appeared in their region, and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: made fasting conditional upon the sighting of the new crescent?

The scientific evidence is the correct analogy, which it is not possible to refute, for we know that the dawn appears in the eastern corner of the earth before the western side. So if the dawn appears on the eastern side, is it incumbent upon us to fast while we are still in the night? The answer is no. If the sun sets in the east, while were still in daylight, is it permissible for us to break our fast? The answer is no. Therefore, the new crescent is exactly like the sun, except that the timing of the new crescent is monthly and the timing of the sun is daily, and He Who said:

“It is made lawful for you to have sexual relations with your wives on the night of As-Saum (the fasts). They are Lihas [i.e. body- cover, or screen, or Sakan (i.e. you enjoy the pleasure of living with them) for you and you are the same for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He turned to you (accepted your repentance) and forgave you. So now have sexual relations with them and seek that which Allah has ordained for you (offspring), and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night), then complete your Saum (fast) till the nightfall. And do not have sexual relations with them (your wives) while you are in I ’tikaf (i.e. confining oneself in a mosque for prayers and invocations leaving the worldly activities) in the mosques. These are the limits (set) by Allah, so approach them not. Thus does Allah make clear His Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelations, verses, laws, legal and illegal things, Allah’s set limits, orders, etc.) to mankind that they may become Al-Muttaqun.” [Al-Baqarah 2:187]

is the One Who said:

“whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan, i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month” [Al-Baqarah 2:185]

So, What is necessitated by the evidence from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, as well as scientific evidence, is to make a special judgement for each place regarding fasting and breaking the fast, and to link them on the base of the perceptible sign which Allah has declared in His Book, and His Prophet, Muhammad fig has declared in his Sunnah, and that is the sighting of the moon and the sighting of the sun or the dawn.

[1] Reported by Al-Bukhari in the Book of Fasting, in the Chapter: The Words of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: When you see the new crescent (1909); and by Muslim in the Book of Fasting, in the Chapter: The Obligation to Fast the Month of Ramadan Upon Sighting the New crescent (1081).

Al-Fajr-ul-Kadhib (false dawn) and Al-Fajr-ul-Sadiq (true dawn) – Dr Saleh as Saleh [Short Clip|English]

The first question of Fatwa no. 10666

Q 1: What is meant by Al-Fajr-ul-Kadhib (false dawn) and Al-Fajr-ul-Sadiq (true dawn)? According to which one of them do we offer Salah (Prayer)? How can we calculate the time of Al-Fajr-ul-Sadiq?

A: Al-Fajr-ul-Kadhib appears as a rectangle in the sky from the top to the bottom of the horizon, while Al-Fajr-ul-Sadiq appears in the sky spreading along the horizon. The time for offering the Fajr (Dawn) Prayer starts with the appearance of Al-Fajr-ul-Sadiq.

May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.

Punishment of Not Paying Zakah – Dawud Burbank [Audio|En]

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said,

Any person who possesses gold or silver and does not pay what is due on it (i.e., the Zakat); on the Day of Resurrection, sheets of silver and gold would be heated for him in the fire of Hell and with them his flank, forehead and back will be branded. When they cool down, they will be heated again and the same process will be repeated during the day the measure whereof will be fifty thousand years. (This would go on) until Judgement is pronounced among (Allah’s) slaves, and he will be shown his final abode, either to Jannah or to Hell.”

It was asked, “How about someone who owns camels and does not pay what is due on him (i.e., their Zakat)?” He (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) replied, “In the same way the owner of camels who does not discharge what is due in respect of them (their due includes their milking on the day when they are taken to water) will be thrown on his face or on his back in a vast desert plain on the Day of Resurrection and they will trample upon him with their hoofs and bite him with their teeth. As often as the first of them passes him, the last of them will be made to return during a day the measure whereof will be fifty thousand years, until Judgement is pronounced among (Allah’s) slaves, he will be shown his final abode either to Jannah or to Hell.”

It was (again) asked: “O Messenger of Allah, what about cows (cattle) and sheep?” He (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “If anyone who possesses cattle and sheep and does not pay what is due on them (i.e., their Zakat); on the Day of Resurrection, he will be thrown on his face in a vast plain desert. He will find none of the animals missing with twisted horns, without horns or with a broken horn, and they will gore him with their horns and trample upon him with their hoofs. As often as the first of them passes him, the last of them will be made to return to him during a day the measure whereof will be fifty thousand years, until Judgement is pronounced among (Allah’s) slaves; and he will be shown his final abode either to Jannah or to Hell.”

It was asked: “O Messenger of Allah, what about the horses?” Upon this he (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “The horses are of three types. One, which is a burden for the owner; another which is a shield, and another one which makes its owner entitled to reward. The one for whom these are a burden is the person who rears them for show or for pride or for causing injury to the sentiments of the Muslims. They will be a cause of torment for their owners. The one for whom these are a shield is the person who rears them for the sake of Allah but does not forget the Right of Allah concerning their backs and their necks (i.e., he lets a needy ride on them), and so they are a shield for him. Those which bring reward to the one who rears them in pastures and gardens are the ones that are used in the Cause of Allah (Jihad) by the Muslims. Whatever they eat from the meadows and the gardens will be recorded on his behalf as good deeds so much so that their droppings and urine will be counted for an equal number of good deeds for him. Even when they break their tying rope and every height from which they climb and every hoofprint which they leave will be counted as a good deed on behalf of the owner. When their owner leads them through a stream from which they drink, though he does not intend to quench their thirst, yet Allah would record for him the quantity (of water) of what they would drink on his behalf as good deeds.”

It was asked: “O Messenger of Allah, what about the donkeys?” Upon this he (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “Nothing has been revealed to me in regard to the donkeys in particular except this one Verse of a comprehensive nature: “So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant) shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant) shall see it.”’ (99: 8,9).

Seeking Knowledge is the Foundation for the Correctness of your Repentance – Shaykh Ahmad ash-Shihhee

The following is posted from : Magnificent Points of Advice for those who have turned to the Way of the Salaf – Abu ‘Abdillaah Ahmad bin Muhammad Ash-Shihhee. This book was read to Allaamaah Rabee’ al-Madkhalee who gave some good instructions regarding it.

AUTHOR: Abu ‘Abdillaah Ahmad bin Muhammad ash-Shihhee
SOURCE: His book “Al-Wasaayah as-Saniyyah Lit-Taa’ibeena ilaas-Salafiyyah” (pg. 34-39)
PRODUCED BY: Al-Ibaanah.com

The Second Advice: Seeking Knowledge is the Foundation for the Correctness of your Repentance

So knowledge is the foundation for the correctness of your repentance. This is due to two reasons:

First: For the most part, the misconceptions (you had prior to your repentance) will remain attached to your heart and your mind. So if you do not correct it with beneficial knowledge, you will find yourself accompanied by these misconceptions in your statements, actions and circumstances. Rather, you will find them mixed into your Da’wah (calling to the Way of Allaah), as is the condition of many of those who have leaped from (just) making their repentance to (being active in) the field of Da’wah. So they have begun calling to the Salafee Da’wah, however this call is mixed with the Ikhwaanee misconceptions of gathering people together (regardless of Creed) or the Qutubee misconceptions of making takfeer (declaring Muslims disbelievers) or the Surooree misconceptions of partisanship (hizbiyyah)! So the image displayed is Salafiyyah, but the taste and the smell derived from it is something else!

Therefore, their call turns into a Salafiyyah, which consists of particular standards that can have their roots traced back to the misconceptions they had propr to their repentance, which still accompany them and which they have not yet corrected. So you find this person calling to leadership in Da’wah (i.e. that there should be one leader for organizing all the Da’wah in a land).

And that one rejects some of the principles of the Salafee Da’wah, claiming that they cause the hearts to be hardened! Or that they cause the brotherly ties to be broken! And this one agrees with the Qutubee ideologies!

And that one calls to Hizbiyyah (partisanship)!

And this one carries ideas of instigation and provocation (of the masses)!

And that one pitches the tent for gathering the people together (regardless of differences)!

All of this is done using the name of Salafiyyah, so to Allaah we turn for help! Verily to Allaah we belong and to Him we will return.

Second: Or perhaps you are carried away by the strong current of a misconception, such that your path and road towards repenting to Salafiyyah has changed course. So now you have become confused on this road or you begin calling to it, thinking that it is the truth when it is in fact misguidance!

How many games do these individuals who claim to have knowledge and stand for Salafiyyah play with the youth who seek to repent to Allaah?

And this is due to nothing else except for their lack of seeking knowledge and their lack of asking questions from the people of knowledge from Ahlus-Sunnah walJamaa’ah.

So, O repentant brother, may Allaah grant you success, you must seek beneficial knowledge, because it is that which will correct your repentance and set your path straight. With knowledge, you will free yourself from the misconceptions and the dangers, and you will save yourself from the hunting nets and snares, by the Will and Permission of Allaah.

As for the evidences that indicate the virtue of knowledge and those who possess it, then they are many and well known. I will mention from them, for the purpose of reminding:

Allaah’s saying:

Allaah bears witness that there is none that has the right to be worshipped but He. And so do the angels, and those having knowledge. (He is always) maintaining His creation with Justice. None has the right to be worshipped but He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” [Surah Aali ‘Imraan: 18]

And His saying:

It is only those who have knowledge amongst His slaves that fear Allaah.” [Surah Faatir: 28]

And His saying:

Allaah will raise in degree those of you who believe, and those who have been given knowledge.” [Surah Al-Mujaadilah: 11]

And Allaah’s saying, reminding of the blessing He bestowed on His Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) due to what He sent down to him from the Book (Qur’aan) and the Hikmah (Sunnah) and protecting him from people misleading him:

Had not the Grace of Allaah and His Mercy been upon you (O Muhammad), a party of them would certainly have made a decision to mislead you, but (in fact) they mislead none except their own selves, and no harm can they do to you in the least. Allaah has sent down to you the Book (Qur’aan) and the Hikmah (Sunnah), and taught you that which you knew not. And Ever Great is the Grace of Allaah unto you.” [Surah An-Nisaa: 113]

So, O repentant brother, when you come to know the importance and virtue of knowledge, and the danger of neglecting it, then know that the first thing you should start with from the various branches of knowledge is:

Begin by Learning the Fundamentals of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah

“Had We sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself” – Explained by Shaykh Uthaymeen

The Second Ayah: His statement:

“Had We sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allah” (Al-Hashr 59:21)

A mountain is among the hardest of what there is, the rocks by which the mountain becomes firm are exemplary in hardness. Allah, Exalted is He, says:

“When, after that, your hearts were hardened and became as stones or even worse in hardness” (Al- Baqara 2:74)

If this Qur’an were to be sent down upon the mountain, you would surely see this mountain humbling itself and cleaving out of the fear of Allah.

“Humbling” – that is, submissively.

And from its severe fright of of Allah, “Rending asunder” it cleaves and tears apart.

And this is sent down upon our hearts, and our hearts – except as Allah wills – contract and become hard, neither opening nor accepting.

As for those who believe, when the Ayat (of the Qur’an) are sent down to them, it increases their faith; but as for those who have a disease in their hearts; it adds filth to their filth; and it is Allah whose refuge is sought!

The meaning of that is that their hearts become more inflexible and hardened and it adds filth to their filth. We seek refuge in Allah from that

If this Qur’an were to be sent down to the mountain, it would cleave and humble itself due to the greatness of Allah’s Words sent down upon it

In this, there is evidence that the mountains have senses, because it humbles itself and cleaves. The matter is like that. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said concerning Uhud: “This is Uhud, a mountain that loves us, and which we love.” [1]

With this Hadith, we also recognize the refutation against those who affirm that there are metaphors in the Qur’an. Those who always raise their flag, using this Ayah as proof:

“Then they found therein a wall wanting to collapse” (Al-Kahf 18:77)

Saying: “How can the wall want?” We say: Subhan Allah! The Knowing, and The Aware says : “Wanting to collapse” and you are saying that it does not want! Is this sensible?

It is not your right, after this, that you sav: “How could it want?”

This makes us ask ourselves: Are we given the knowledge of everything?

The answer is that we are not given knowledge, except a little.

It is not possible for us to object to the statement of the One Who knows the hidden and the witnessed: “Wanting to collapse” by saying: “The wall does not have an Iradah (a want)! And It does not want to collapse!”

This is one of the evils of metaphors, because it implies a negation of what the Qur’an affirms.

Is it not Allah, Exalted is He, Who says:

The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification” {Al-Israa’ 17: 44)

Do they glorify Him, without wanting to?

He says: “Tusabbih Lahu (they glorify Him)“: the Lam is to specify. Thus, it means sincerely. Is it imaginable to have sincerity without an Iradah (volition, objective, will)? Therefore, they will, and everything wills, for Allah says: “And there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise.” I think it is clear to all of us that this is one of the ways of expressing generality, because In (here) means Ma (not), which negates. Also, “A thing” is an indefinite pronoun used in the context of negation. “But glorifies His Praise” by that, it includes everything.

O my Muslim brother, if you see that your heart is not moved by the Qur’an, accuse yourself, because Allah has informed that if this Qur’an were to be sent down upon a mountain, it would cleave, and the Qur’an is recited to your heart, yet and it is not moved. We ask Allah to aid us, and you.

The Beautiful Humble Dua of Abu Bakr -RadhiAllaahu anhu

The Beautiful Humble Dua of Abu Bakr -RadhiAllaahu anhu- the Best of Creation after the Prophets

Shaykh Albaani said after an announcer praised him:

‘I thank the brother, teacher Ibraheem for his statements and his praise, there is nothing that I can say in return except by following the first Khalifa Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq -RadhiAllaahu anhu- who was truly a Khalifa and the first of them for the Messenger of Allaah -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – but even though he was the Khalifa when he would hear a person praising him with goodness – and I believe that praise, no matter how excessive that person was in giving it, as long as it was for the Khalifa of the Messenger of Allaah, then he deserved it — but along with that -Allaah ul-Musta’aan (Allaah’s help is required) [here the Shaykh begins to shed tears] along with that Abu Bakr used to say:

 اللهم لا تؤاخذني بما يقولون،
O Allaah do not take me to task with   what they say,

 واجعلني خيرًا مما يظنون،
and make me better than what they presume

واغفر لي ما لا يعلمون،
and forgive me for what they do not know.’

This is what as-Siddeeq al-Akbar said, so what can we say after him?

So I say – following him:

اللهم لا تؤاخذني بما يقولون، واجعلني خيرًا مما يظنون، واغفر لي ما لا يعلمون،

O Allaah do not take me to task with what they say, and make me better than what they presume and forgive me for what they do not know.

[The Shaykh cries trying to utter this statement]

The truth is – and I say the truth – I am not as was described previously, by what you heard from our respected brother Ibraheem, indeed I am only a student of knowledge, nothing else. It is upon every student of knowledge to be with the statement of the Prophet -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam:

(بلغوا عني ولو آية، بلغوا عني ولو آية، وحدثوا
عن بني إسرائيل ولا حرج، ومن كذب عليّ
متعمدًا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار)

‘Convey from me, even if it is only one Ayaah, convey from me, even if it is only one Ayaah. There is no problem of narrating from Bani Israel. Whoever intentionally lies against me then he should take his seat in Hell fire.’

Collected by Bukhari from the Hadeeth of Abdullaah bin Amr.’

Humble Yourselves Before Allaah And Call Him With Hope And Fear – Dr Saleh As Saleh [Audio Clip]

Be in a state of humbleness/Calmness in Hope & fear While making Du’a

“Verily, they used to hasten on to do good deeds, and they used to call on Us with hope and fear, and used to humble themselves before Us”

[Aurah Al-Anbiyah 21:90, Muhsin Khan Translation]

The following is taken from Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Dar-us-salam Publication

﴿وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَباً وَرَهَباً﴾

(and they used to call on Us with hope and fear,)

Ath-Thawri said, “Hoping for that (reward) which is with Us and fearing that (punishment) which is with Us.”

﴿وَكَانُواْ لَنَا خـشِعِينَ﴾

(and they were Khashi`in before Us.)

Ali bin Abi Talhah reported from Ibn `Abbas that this means, sincerely believing in that which was revealed by Allah.

Mujahid said: “Truly believing.”

Abu Al-`Aliyah said: “Fearing.”

Abu Sinan said: “Khushu` means the fear which should never leave our hearts.”

It was also reported from Mujahid that the Khashi`in are those who are humble.”

Al-Hasan, Qatadah and Ad-Dahhak said, “The Khashi`in are those who humble themselves before Allah.”

All of these suggestions are close in meaning.

Ten Points about Jamaa’at-ul-Ikhwaan al-Muslimoon – Shaikh Ahmad bin Yahyaa An-Najmee

Definition of the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon:

They are the followers of Hasan Al-Bannaa. There are several points to be noted about their methodology, the most important of which are the following:

1. They show a lack of importance to Tawheed Al-‘Ibaadah [1], which is the most important matter in Islaam, since the Islaam of an individual is not valid without it.

2. They remain silent and concede to the people in their performance of major Shirk, supplication to other than Allaah, performance of tawaaf around graves, making oaths to the dead in the graves, sacrificing in their names and so on.

3. The founder of this methodology was a Sufi. He had a connection with Sufism to the point that he gave bay’ah (oath of allegiance) to ‘Abdul-Wahhaab Al-Khusaafee upon (following) his Khusaafee Shadh-lee order.

4. The presence of innovations amongst them and their worshipping Allaah through them – even to the point that the founder of this methodology acknowledged that the Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would attend their gatherings of dhikr and that he (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would forgive what past sins they had committed, as is found in his saying:

“May Allaah bless the one who upon light in which he appeared
To the worlds, and so he surpassed the sun and the moon
This habeeb (i.e. Muhammad) along with his beloved has gathered
And pardoned everyone in what sins they did in the past.”

5. They call to establishing the Khilaafah and this is an innovation because the Messengers and their followers were not entrusted with anything except to call to Tawheed. Allaah says: “And We have indeed sent to every nation a messenger, (saying to his people): ‘Worship Allaah and avoid the taaghoot (false deities).’”[Surah An-Nahl: 36]

6. They have a lack of Walaa and Baraa (loyalty and disavowment) or a weak form of it. This is made clear in their call to bring closeness between the Sunnis and the Shee’ah. And their founder was quoted as saying: “We will cooperate with one another in what we agree on and pardon one another in what we disagree on.”

7. They hate and despise the people of Tawheed and those who adhere to the Salafee Way. This is made clear in their talk concerning the Saudi state, which is founded upon Tawheed and which teaches Tawheed in its schools, institutes and universities. And it was made clear in their killing of Jameel Ar-Rahmaan Al-Afghaanee just because he called to Tawheed and because he had schools in which he would teach Tawheed.

8. They pursue the mistakes of the leaders and expose their faults – whether true or false – spreading them amongst the youth in order to make the leaders appear hateful to them and so that they can fill their hearts with contempt against them.

9. They hold detestable partisanship to the party they ascribe themselves to. So they show friendship based on this party and they show enmity based on this party.

10. They give their oath of allegiance to work for the Ikhwaani Manhaj according to the ten conditions that the founder has set forth. And there are other issues of concern, which perhaps can be dealt with at a later time.

Footnotes:

[1] Translator’s Note: This is the category of Tawheed related to the Oneness of Allaah in the worship that is performed to Him, i.e. that we worship only Allaah and no one else.

Du’aa & Our Own Good Deeds – The Story of three men Blocked in a Cave – Dr. Saleh as Saleh [Audio|En]

‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) narrated that:He heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:

“Three men, amongst those who came before you, set out until night came and they reached a cave, so they entered it. A rock fell down from the mountain and blocked the entrance of the cave. They said: ‘Nothing will save you from this unless you supplicate to Allah by virtue of a righteous deed you have done.’

Thereupon, one of them said: ‘O Allah! I had parents who were old, and I used to offer them milk before any of my children or slaves. One day, I went far away in search of grazing and could not come back until they had slept. When I milked as usual and brought the drink I found them both asleep. I hated to disturb them and also disliked to give milk to my children before them. My children were crying out of hunger at my feet but I awaited with the bowl in my hand for them to wake up. When they awoke at dawn, they drank milk. O Allah! If I did so to seek Your Pleasure, then deliver us from the distress caused by the rock’. The rock moved slightly but they were unable to escape.

The next said: ‘O Allah! I had a cousin whom I loved more than any one else (in another version he said: as a man can love a woman). I wanted to have sexual intercourse with her but she refused. Hard pressed in a year of famine, she approached me. I gave her one hundred and twenty dinars on condition that she would yield herself to me. She agreed and when we got together (for sexual intercourse), she said: Fear Allah and do not break the seal unlawfully. I moved away from her in spite of the fact that I loved her most passionately; and I let her keep the money I had given her. O Allah! If I did that to seek Your Pleasure, then, remove the distress in which we are.’ The rock moved aside a bit further but they were still unable to get out.

The third one said: ‘O Allah! I hired some labourers and paid them their wages except one of them departed without taking his due. I invested his money in business and the business prospered greatly. After a long time, he came to me and said: O slave of Allah! Pay me my dues. I said: All that you see is yours – camels, cattle, goats and slaves. He said: O slave of Allah! Do not mock at me. I assured him that I was not joking. So he took all the things and went away. He spared nothing. O Allah! If I did so seeking Your Pleasure, then relieve us of our distress.’ The rock slipped aside and they got out walking freely”.

Eastern and Western Cultural invasion on Muslim societies – Imam Ibn Baz

How to fight the Eastern and Western cultural invasion [1]

All praise be to Allah Alone, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and Companions.

There is no doubt that the gravest danger that Muslim societies are facing nowadays is the so-called cultural invasion with its different weapons, including all media means, printed and broadcast alike. Invaders have realized in the modern age that the old ways have become ineffective. Nations fight courageously to defend their religion, homelands and their heritage. Usurping by violence and terrorism is an inherently refused concept, especially in modern times after the spread of awareness among the people. The world has become like a small village and many organizations were established to defend the rights of nations, refuse political invasion, and claim the right to self-determination. Every nation has the right to have sovereignty over its own territory, invest its resources, and rule its territories according to its own standards. Nations also adopt different beliefs, creeds and ruling systems, which made invaders leave these countries after fierce, bloody wars.

However, before leaving those countries, the invaders thought of many ways and prepared many plots based on thorough investigation, full awareness of the aims and effectiveness of those plans, and the ways that should be followed to accomplish them. Their aims revolved around designing highly deceiving curriculums of weak ties with religion, focusing on spreading their culture and instilling in the souls of most of the people the admiration of their material achievements in different aspects of life. When people, especially teenagers and young students, are impressed by this superficial brilliant achievements and inventions in the world, some of them who are totally impressed choose to complete their education in European and American universities. There they are surrounded with doubts and sorts of lusts systematically presented by orientalists and atheists, using well-organized, perverted, cunning schemes, where they face the Western lifestyle with all its corruption, dissolution and obscenity.

Rarely does a person remain safe from these weapons, being accompanied with enticement and lack of religion or authority. After completing their study and returning to their countries, those people assume important posts and become agents for the colonialists and apply their demands and implement their plots precisely, even with harsher means than those used by the colonialists themselves. This has taken place, indeed, in many countries that were occupied by invaders. The way to safety from this danger lies in establishing universities and institutes in different specializations, in order to limit the missions abroad and teach all forms of knowledge in all universities and institutes. This should be accompanied with paying attention to Islamic subjects and culture, in order to keep the `Aqidah (creed) of the students intact, and protect their morals and future, so that they take part in building their society on a Shari`ah (Islamic law) basis and according to the needs of the Islamic Ummah (nation). We should restrict educational missions abroad to certain forms of knowledge that are not available at home.

May Allah guide us to all what benefits the people and the countries, and protects the Muslims against anything that might harm them in their `Aqidah and morals. He is the Most Generous.

Moreover, we need to take more care of curricula, add a perfect Islamic touch to them, and establish more scientific institutions to help the people study at home instead of traveling abroad. We should also choose teachers and managers perfectly; all of them should be of good morals, sound `Aqidah, reputation, jealousy on Islam, power and honesty. Whoever enjoys these traits is guaranteed and will most probably do their best to explain information to the students in a correct way.

However, if it is a necessity to send some students to learn abroad due to the lack of some professional institutions, especially in the field of industry, an objective committee should be formed to choose the most suitable students in terms of religion and morals and who are well-versed in Islamic culture and have an Islamic spirit. The committee can also choose a knowledgeable, righteous supervisor, who is active in practicing Da`wah (calling to Islam), to accompany the mission, practices Da`wah there, supervises and guides the students, and refutes any doubts they may come across.

They should be given even a short course before traveling to be aware of all the problems they might encounter abroad, and clarify the Shari`ah viewpoint and wisdom behind such issues according to the Qur’an, the Sunnah (whatever is reported from the Prophet), and the opinions of scholars. This includes, for instance, the rulings on slavery, polygyny in general, polygyny of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in particular, Talaq (divorce pronounced by a husband), the wisdom behind both offensive and defensive Jihad (fighting in the Cause of Allah), and such doubts that are mentioned by the enemies of Allah to Muslim youths, so that they would be fully ready to refute any such issues.

As for facing the invasion of print and broadcast media, which have afflicted the Muslim Ummah in the modern age and have come to occupy most of the time of Muslims in spite of the deadly poison and the misleading promotion they usually contain, it is one of the most important tasks to protect Islam and the Islamic culture from its evil plotting. We should make sure that the Du`ah (callers to Islam) dedicate themselves to writing useful researches, periodicals and articles; practicing Da`wah, replying to different forms of cultural invasion and exposing their falsehood. The enemies have dedicated all their resources and potentials, founded many organizations and applied different means to deceive Muslims. Their misconceptions should be refuted and Islamic `Aqidah, legislation, rulings and morals should be clarified and explained in a nice, attractive way using suitable modern ways; wisdom and good discourse of preaching, arguing in a gentle way via all mass media as much as possible. Islam is the perfect religion that encompasses all goodness, guarantees happiness to all people, good progress, sound development, peace, security, prosperous life and winning in this world and in the Hereafter.

The Muslims are afflicted by all this as they do not stick to their religion as they should have, with most of the people not understanding its reality, because of being not interested; ignorant of it; negligent of many scholars in clarifying its advantages, wisdoms and secrets; lack of honesty and patience in inviting others to it; and not bearing harm and using the modern ways. Thus, discrepancy took place. Most of the people have become ignorant of the Islamic rulings. They have become deluded.

It is known that the last generation of this Ummah will not succeed except with what brought success to the first generation – that is, to follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

Allah (Exalted be He) says:

[Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to these idolaters (pagan Arabs) of your folk:] Follow what has been sent down unto you from your Lord (the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad’s Sunnah), and follow not any Auliyâ’ (protectors and helpers who order you to associate partners in worship with Allâh), besides Him (Allâh). Little do you remember! [Surah Al-A`raf, 7: 3]

Allah (Exalted be He) also says:

“And verily, this (i.e. Allâh’s Commandments mentioned in the above two Verses 151 and 152) is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2).” [Surah Al-An`am, 6: 153]

And: And this is a blessed Book (the Qur’ân) which We have sent down, so follow it and fear Allâh (i.e. do not disobey His Orders), that you may receive mercy (i.e. be saved from the torment of Hell). [Surah Al-An`am, 6: 155]

Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He), Who is the Most Truthful, has promised us a great victory and successful outcome in return for this in His Statement: …and (as for) the believers, it was incumbent upon Us to help (them). [Surah AlRum, 30: 47]

He (Glorified be He) also says:

But if you remain patient and become Al-Muttaqûn [the pious – See V.2:2], not the least harm will their cunning do to you. Surely, Allâh surrounds all that they do. [Surah Al-`Imran, 3: 120]

And: Allâh has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).[Surah Al-Nur, 24: 55]

And: O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allâh, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.[Surah Muhammad, 47: 7]

There are many Ayahs (Qur’anic verses) in this regard. When the Salaf (righteous predecessors) applied these noble Ayahs, whether in words, actions, or beliefs, Allah granted them victory over their enemies, made them rulers of the world, spread justice through them, and made them leaders of the Ummah and Imams of guidance. When the latter generations faltered in this (Allah’s Orders) their conditions declined, according to Allah’s Statement: Verily, Allâh will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allâh).[Surah Al-Ra`d, 13: 11]

May Allah make the Muslims, whether people or governments, return to their faith in a proper way; grant them comprehension of it, cause them to apply it, make them unanimous on Al-Haqq (the Truth), guide them to cooperation in righteousness and piety, and enjoining each other to Al-Haqq and persevering upon it. He is the All-Hearing, Ever Near. May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions.

The Suroorees – Shaikh Ahmad bin Yahyaa An-Najmee

The definition of the people who adhere and ascribe to this methodology:

The Suroorees are a group of people or a sect that ascribe themselves to Muhammad Suroor Zayn-ul-‘Aabideen. They have some aspects of the Sunnah and some aspects of Bid’ah (innovation) in them. The most important characteristics that can be noted from them are:

1. They attack the rulers and speak about them in a manner that results in evil, corruption and danger. It appears that they declare the leaders to be disbelievers, but this can only be understood by way of their circumstances and actions and cannot be picked up from their words. This is since the path they take is the path of the Khawaarij or close to it, knowing that the religious texts state the obligation of hearing and obeying the rulers.

And our rulers in this land (of Saudi Arabia) are Muslims – all praise be to Allaah. They use Allaah’s Legislation for judging in their court systems and they establish the prescribed punishments (hudood). So declaring them to be disbelievers or talking about them in a manner that leads to revolting and rebelling against them is considered a great form of causing corruption. Due to this, we must warn against those who adhere to this methodology or rid ourselves from them, especially since they have attacked the scholars of this land by reviling them, making slanderous remarks against them and accusing them of betraying the Deen. This matter indicates what they are behind.

2. They call to Jihaad, but they do not intend by it the Jihaad against the disbelievers. Rather it seems like they intend by it to change the leaders, knowing that we cannot rid the leaders of their errors. And we do not claim that they are infallible however we say: It is obligatory to obey them and to advise them in a private manner because they are Muslims. And the Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) forbade us from rebelling against the leader unless the one rebelling sees clear disbelief upon him by which he will have a proof from Allaah in the matter.

3. They claim that the scholars in this land do not understand the current affairs. And they can be refuted by the fact that the Muftees and the judges do not issue a fatwa in a single issue nor do they judge in a single matter except after coming to know its state of affairs, which encompasses it, such as the cause, the conditions for the ruling and its effects. So whoever claims that these scholars and judges do not understand the current affairs then he has wronged himself and spoken what is not permissible for him to say. As for knowing the plans and schemes of the enemies and so on, then this falls under the jurisdiction of each country’s army.
